In my Malta travel guide in ebook or paper format, you will also find itinerary sugestions if you want to spend few days, one week or more in Malta. More of that, you will also get a free map to download on your mobile with the 20 best attractions to see. Furthermore, you will be able to use it as a GPS in offline or online mode to head to these 20 amazing spots showcased in the ebook.

Malta Island

Main places to visit in Malta island

First, don’t miss to visit the historical cities of Valletta (classified as a Unesco heritage) and its Three cities nearby named Vittoriosa, Cospicua, Senglea. Further in the south, you also need to discover one of most charming cities of Malta: Marsaxlokk with its picturesque port. Not far from there, I also advise you to stop by the fun and nice natural spot of St. Peter’s Pool.

Pursuing in the southern part of the island, you definitely need to see the Blue grotto and the impressive cliffs around. For one of the most important historical visits of the island, discover the nearby megalithic temple Hagar Qim.
Further in the North of the island, I advise you to visit the ancient capital city of Malta: Mdina for an interesting city tour. Finally, if you are looking for a good spot to sunbath and swim, you should go to Ghajn Tuffieha Bay and Golden Bay. They are considered among the most beautiful beaches in Malta.

Comino Island

Beautiful places to discover in Comino island

Located between Malta and Gozo islands, Comino is a small island where it is very nice to spend the day (or eventually one night too). The most famous spot of Comino island is with no doubt the Blue Lagoon, which effectively looks like a paradise on earth (before too many tourists arrive 😅). Walk around this 3,5 km² island is also a nice activity to do, you will discover other beautiful coast landscapes. You will also have a nice view from the highest point of Comino, Saint Mary’s Tower, which is a large bastioned watchtower.
