En America, el Norte sigue siendo un destino para descubrir si no tienes demasiado miedo al fr\u00edo. La presencia de nieve siempre da un ambiente agradable para celebrar la Navidad con la familia. Al contrario, varios destinos merecen ser descubiertos gracias a su clima muy favorable, con temperaturas alrededor de 28\u00b0C. En Europa, diciembre rima con las celebraciones de fin de a\u00f1o y el comienzo del invierno. Algunas familias, as\u00ed como los amantes del esqu\u00ed, van a las estaciones de deportes de invierno para disfrutar de estos momentos festivos y amistosos. Los Pirineos (Francia y Espa\u00f1a) y los Alpes<\/strong><\/a> (Francia, Austria, Suiza, Italia…) son destinos de monta\u00f1a populares. Tambi\u00e9n se puede viajar con su familia a Estrasburgo<\/strong><\/a>, M\u00fanich y otras ciudades europeas ofreciendo una experiencia t\u00edpica del mercado navide\u00f1o. Si te gustan los paisajes nevados, una visita a las regiones m\u00e1s septentrionales de Europa es una necesidad, y por qu\u00e9 ni siquiera visitar Santa Claus en Laponia. \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

Siem Reap es la capital de la provincia del mismo nombre en el noroeste de Camboya. Esta ciudad es la puerta de entrada ideal para visitar las majestuosas ruinas de Angkor, la sede del Imperio Khmer desde el siglo IX hasta el siglo XV. A menos de 10 km al norte de Siem Reap se encuentra el Complejo Arqueol\u00f3gico de Angkor, declarado patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO<\/strong><\/a> desde 1992 y compuesto por numerosos yacimientos arqueol\u00f3gicos. Un ejemplo es el m\u00e1s grande de los templos, Angkor Wat, o Bayon con sus famosas estatuas de rostros sonrientes de Buda. Adem\u00e1s, no te pierdas el templo Ta Prohm, dejado en un estado cercano a su descubrimiento, y que parece ser invadido por \u00e1rboles centenarios cuyas ra\u00edces se integran completamente en las paredes del templo.<\/p>\n

Al otro lado de Siem Reap, a 15 km al sur, se encuentra Tonl\u00e9 Sap, el lago de agua dulce m\u00e1s grande del sudeste asi\u00e1tico. Se puede visitar en largos barcos locales tres pueblos pesqueros “flotantes”: Chong Khneas, Kampong Phluk y Kampong Khleang. Chong Khneas es el m\u00e1s concurrido, ya que est\u00e1 m\u00e1s cerca de Siem Reap, mientras que Kampong Phluk es m\u00e1s grande e incluye tres pueblos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os. Por \u00faltimo, en Siem Reap, encontrar\u00e1s todas las comodidades para un buen alojamiento, comida, compras en el antiguo mercado, as\u00ed como entretenimiento, como tomar una copa en el bullicioso ‘Pub Street’.<\/p>\n

El Pattaya es un complejo costero con vistas al golfo de Tailandia. Esta ciudad ofrece m\u00faltiples opciones seg\u00fan lo que est\u00e1s buscando: playas, “festivales” o tours culturales. Fui all\u00ed porque hab\u00eda ganado el viaje y el entrenamiento durante una semana en el campamento de boxeo Venum Thai en Pattaya<\/strong><\/a> \ud83e\udd29. As\u00ed que no tuve mucho tiempo libre, pero me las arregle para ver las principales atracciones de la ciudad.<\/p>\n

Primero te aconsejo que subas la colina de Phra Tamnak, y descubre el templo Wat Phra Yai con su escalera en forma de drag\u00f3n, su estatua dorada de Buda de 18 metros de altura, y su vista panor\u00e1mica de Pattaya. Zakopane, situada en el sur de Polonia, es un pintoresco valle rodeado por los Tatras<\/strong><\/a>, la cordillera m\u00e1s alta de los C\u00e1rpatos. El Parque Nacional de los Tatras fue fundado en la d\u00e9cada de 1950 y ha estado en la Lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO<\/strong><\/a> desde 1993. Los amantes de los deportes de invierno pueden pasar unas excelentes vacaciones en las estaciones de esqu\u00ed y disfrutar de las numerosas pistas de esqu\u00ed, luego calentarse en una de las tabernas y beber cerveza caliente, vino caliente o aguamiel. Krup-wki es la calle principal de Zakopane, es una calle muy concurrida con muchas tiendas y restaurantes, que termina al pie de la colina de Guba-wka. Es una de las colinas m\u00e1s famosas y es accesible por funicular. Desde arriba, podr\u00e1s disfrutar de una magn\u00edfica vista del valle.<\/p>\n

Kasprowy Wierch es otro de los picos m\u00e1s importantes de los Tatras y se puede llegar a pie (en verano) o en telef\u00e9rico (en verano e invierno). Para aquellos que deciden venir a Zakopane, los Tatras ofrecen una amplia variedad de rutas de senderismo en las monta\u00f1as, con diferentes niveles de dificultad, en los que se puede caminar y admirar la belleza de los paisajes del parque nacional.<\/p>\n

Doha es la capital de Qatar, un peque\u00f1o pa\u00eds peninsular situado en el Golfo P\u00e9rsico en Oriente Medio. Es una ciudad moderna con muchos puntos de inter\u00e9s culturales que se han construido en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. Por ejemplo, encontrar\u00e1s el reciente Museo Nacional de Qatar, en forma de cristal rosado del desierto, dise\u00f1ado por el arquitecto Jean Nouvel. Otros museos interesantes son el Museo Arabe de Arte Moderno Mathaf y el Museo de Arte Isl\u00e1mico, dise\u00f1ado por IM Pei, que alberga una gran colecci\u00f3n del mundo musulm\u00e1n. El paseo por la Corniche a lo largo del paseo mar\u00edtimo tambi\u00e9n es un paseo agradable si no hace demasiado calor. Desde aqu\u00ed se puede abordar uno de los t\u00edpicos barcos de madera para disfrutar de una hermosa vista de los magn\u00edficos rascacielos del centro de la ciudad.<\/p>\n

No te pierdas el Souq Waqif, un mercado tradicional donde los comerciantes ofrecen todo tipo de productos como artesan\u00edas y especias. No muy lejos, tambi\u00e9n recomiendo visitar el Fuerte de Doha (Fort Al Koot), con sus torres construidas en la d\u00e9cada de 1920, y ahora hogar de un peque\u00f1o museo. Por \u00faltimo, para ir de compras, tendr\u00e1s mucho que ver con la multitud de enormes centros comerciales como el Villaggio Mall, por ejemplo, que est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado en el estilo de Venecia<\/strong><\/a> y donde incluso puedes dar un paseo en g\u00f3ndola en el interior.<\/p>\n

Hong Kong es un territorio situado en el sureste de China, cuyo encanto radica en su contraste entre modernidad y tradiciones. Encontrar\u00e1s muchos edificios muy modernos con vistas impresionantes, as\u00ed como enormes centros comerciales, como en el coraz\u00f3n financiero llamado Central. Tambi\u00e9n puedes divertirte en grandes parques tem\u00e1ticos como Disneyland o Ocean Park, por ejemplo. Para disfrutar de la mejor vista panor\u00e1mica de Hong Kong, aseg\u00farate de subir a la cima del pico Victoria, la vista es tan hermosa de d\u00eda como por la noche. No te pierdas el paseo mar\u00edtimo de Kowloon, que ofrece una hermosa vista de la bah\u00eda y los rascacielos de la ciudad. Descubrir\u00e1s entre otras cosas la impresionante estatua de Bruce Lee, un “lugar de peregrinaci\u00f3n” para los amantes de las artes marciales! Este fue para mi uno de los momentos importantes de mi viaje. \ud83d\ude0d<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n te aconsejo que visites la isla de Lantao, que es la isla m\u00e1s grande de Hong Kong. Situada en la desembocadura del r\u00edo Pearl, la mitad de su \u00e1rea es un parque nacional, con muchas rutas de senderismo. La principal atracci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica es el Monasterio de Po Lin. Despu\u00e9s de un c\u00f3modo y agradable transporte en telef\u00e9rico, descubrir\u00e1s el imponente Buda Tian Tan con vistas a la isla de Lantau. La estatua es un mausoleo de 34 metros de altura y s\u00f3lo es accesible despu\u00e9s de subir una escalera de 268 escalones. Para otro relajante paseo m\u00e1s cerca del centro de Hong Kong, recomiendo el hermoso Nan Lian Garden. Por \u00faltimo, pasea por Lan Kwai Fong con sus bulliciosas calles y docenas de bares y discotecas.<\/p>\n

Estrasburgo es una hermosa ciudad en el este de Francia, en la encrucijada de Europa, una agradable mezcla entre las culturas alemana y francesa. Uno de los emblemas de la ciudad es la magn\u00edfica catedral de Notre Dame en Estrasburgo. Merece la pena visitar el interior de la catedral para descubrir sus vidrieras, el reloj astron\u00f3mico y el pilar de los \u00e1ngeles. Hay muchos otros puntos de inter\u00e9s en Estrasburgo, incluyendo la plaza “Milk Pig Market”, que es uno de los m\u00e1s agradables y animados de la ciudad. Tambi\u00e9n podemos mencionar el distrito de “Peque\u00f1a Francia” con sus calles empedradas, canales y casas bien conservadas con entramado de madera. Y hay muchos otros lugares para descubrir, como el Palacio Rohan, la presa de Vauban, la plaza Kl\u00e9ber o el parque del invernadero, por ejemplo.<\/p>\n

Estrasburgo tambi\u00e9n te ofrecer\u00e1 una experiencia \u00fanica en t\u00e9rminos de cocina y bares. Cervezas, vinos, flammekueche, chucrut y salchichas alsacianas son solo algunas de las especialidades que los bares y restaurantes de Estrasburgo tienen para ofrecer. Por \u00faltimo, Estrasburgo es un gran lugar para viajar en diciembre gracias a sus calles bellamente decoradas y m\u00faltiples mercados navide\u00f1os que sin duda te har\u00e1n pasar un buen rato.<\/p>\n
